The Internet provides users with the more opportunities to distract themselves than ever before. One example of this is the millions of games and gaming system. Today, one can play games on computers, tablets, cell phones, consoles, online and offline.

Although Internet addiction has not yet been claimed to be an official disorder, Internet Gaming Disorder (ISD) is listed in the DSM-5 – the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
